I'm going to assume you looked at the Home Page of my website and some Daily Snapshots of previous months so you understand how Government Gang Stalking works. So as an introduction to this page, I'm just going to talk about some psychological concepts.
How You Get People To Support Your Policies
Let's say you are the Neocons after 9/11 and you are thinking of using that event to launch a War on Terror. How do you get a wide segment of the American public to support your policies? People who know something about psychology might say you get them to do something in the direction you want which will make them more likely to support more of your policies. For instance, by scapegoating some citizen targets for mobbing and getting people to participate in that - they are more likely to get on board with the larger government agenda. As a side benefit you channel their anger/negative emotions toward the scapegoat which makes it less likely those negative emotions will be turned on the government (for instance, asking what signals the government missed which resulted in 9/11).
The Psychological Mechanisms Used Against Targets
A Lack of Consensual Validation
Harry Stack Sullivan talked about consensual validation to sustain one's view of reality. By getting surrounding neighbors/as well as many members of the community to Gang Stalk targets using tactics like Same Time Exit/Entry you undermine the consensual validation (most members of the community agreeing) needed to make a person feel their view of reality is valid. When most of your neighbors take the same perspective which differs greatly from yours - it becomes harder to sustain your view of reality for many people.
The Double Bind
R.D. Laing talked about the double bind in dysfunctional families where one member is labeled mentally ill. Think of the movie "Ordinary People" as an example. The mother in the family hugs her son, but he can feel her subtly pull away. She hates me the son would tell his father. Mothers don't hate their sons, his mother would say.
When you get many of these double messages - one nonverbally (pulling away), one verbally (mothers don't hate their sons), it can be crazymaking. Verbally - the Gang Stalkers say hello - as they nonverbally - Gang Stalk/wear RED in Same Time Exit/Entry Gang Stalking etc. The double bind is you can validate their point of view/invalidate your own, or validate your own and be called crazy because most of your neighbors who gang stalk invalidate it. No matter what you choose their are negative consequences. It is a no win situation.
We are social creatures who need each other for our sense of self-esteem and validation of our view of ourselves and our world. What Government Gang Stalking seeks to do is to socially isolate its targets and to deprive them of validation of their view of reality/their sense of their own well-being/that they aren't nuts.
Add to that the disinformation campaign on you tube and the internet which seeks to portray Government Gang Stalking targets as nuts and you get an idea of how Government Gang Stalking seeks to undermine its targets psychological well-being.

I would like to emphasize I never say anyone in any of my snapshots or videos is a U.S. Government Gang Stalker. I am not a mind reader. I don't know people's intentions.
