Taoism teaches neutrality.  Not allowing the desires of Ego/the wanting and wishing, emotion to control you.  In Taoism what is important is the True, allowing your personality to be dominated by principles which you know in your heart are true. I know in my heart that Government Gang Stalking, constantly harassing people, trying to "neutralize"/destroy them is wrong.  Thus, with every fiber of my being I oppose it, try to expose it.  Now a Taoist, not controlled by Ego - never knows what will happen.  It's sort of like when I was growing up Catholic - you say to yourself - "Thy Will Be Done"/you trust the Tao/leave it to the Tao. Thus, what Taoism taught me is you persevere in the True - in this case opposing the Evil that is Government Gang Stalking.  And leave the outcome/to the Tao/Trust the Tao.  My trust is not that everything will turn out well for me in the end - it is more, the Will of God/the Tao will be done.
