As I go back to my car after shopping - the gray one - a person in RED is passing behind it. 7/31/2020 An Open Letter To President Trump Dear President Trump, you more than any other President have experienced the devastating consequences of our intelligence agencies abusing their power.  Ordinary citizens like myself - I have a website showing what I have experienced/http://www.StopGangStalkingPolice.com - have likewise experienced this abuse of power.   As one of your supporters, I ask you to work with Congress to Reform Our Intelligence Agencies so no one ever has to experience Abuse of Power by Our Intelligence Agencies again. Loch Johnson has written a book, Spy Watching Intelligence Accountability in the United States.   Please look over some of his recommendations which I have outlined below, and, please, by improving Accountability of Our Intelligence Agencies, help to make America Great Again. 1. Use the Gang of Eight Rule in Congress only for emergencies as it was intended.  Have all 37 members of our intelligence agencies and their staffs review all important intelligence activities. 2. Except for President Daily Brief, the information provided to the Executive Branch, should be reported to the 37 members of our intelligence committees.  Real accountability demands, in advance, every intelligence agency report on every important intelligent activity to the 37 or so members of our intelligence committees in Congress and their senior staff. 3. Budget authorizations and almost all other intelligence matters should be the oversight responsilbity of two committees - the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. 4. These two committees should have dedicated Oversight Subcommittees. 5. Double the staff on these two committees and increase the staff on the Government Accountability Office. 6. To make it clear to intelligence agencies what is expected of them the two committees responsible for their oversight should enact charters for each intelligence agency and then knit them together. 7. There needs to be more public hearings by intelligence committees to spur public debates on intelligence subjects. 8. There needs to be more clarity by Congress on when it can declassify intelligence documents on its own.  Perhaps SSCI and HPSCI acting together or separate should have more authority to declassify documents. 9. Give the SSCI and HPSCI power to release documents, including those from the Executive Branch, when 2/3's of the present and voting members see this as in the public's interest. 10. With the help of RAND and McKinsey consultants develop intelligence oversight algorithms for collection and analysis, covert action, and counterintelligence activities of our intelligence agencies. 11. Improve Whistleblowing and Warrant Procedures. 12. Set up a Permanent and Independent Intelligence Advisory Board. Of course, none of the above reforms will work - if as is currently the case - the leadership of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees are in the hands of those who use them for political advantage or are cheerleaders for our intelligence committees rather than their overseers. Hence it is incumbent on Congressional Leaders to select as Chairpersons of these committees people who have shown a deep respect for our Constitution like Senator Mike Lee on the right and Senator Ron Wyden on the Left. P.S. - Be careful President Trump.  Our Intel Agencies - Comey/Clapper/Brennan and more- who tried to overthrow you in 2016 may be setting you up to try it again.  Notice the Democrats - in bed with our Intel Agencies - have been saying you may not leave the White House if you lose the Election of 2020.  The Democrats who have tried to impeach you for three years, along with our Intel Agencies who tried to overthrow you, and powerful Corporations who don't like your trade policies - may try to steal the Election of 2020 and when you protest, fight back, say - See, we told you he wouldn't leave the White House.   Democrats allied with our Intel Agencies are a dangerous combination.  Democrat Globalists are masters of the Decoy (Russia, Russia, Russia to get the focus off China, China, China - Racism, Racism, Racism, to make them unaccountable for the mess Democratic  governed cities are in who have underperformed for their Black Constituencies.
