What We Need To Reach The Correct Synthesis
First we had the Bush/Cheney Administration that thought you could use killing/war to bring world democracy.
They thought the New World Order of Peace needed Mass Surveillance and Purging of Those Who Criticized Them With Programs Like U.S. Government Gang Stalking.
They Thought the End Justified the Means and so you could use Torture and not betray the values you professed as a nation.
The Excess of this New World Order Thinking – Globalist Thinking – which now counts Democrats, Neocons and Deep State as its followers – is the Attack on the First Amendment, Group Think, Purging of people like Rosanne who dare to violate the Group Mores.
The Antithesis of this is the Donald Trump phenomena. But the Antithesis – if it will eventually lead to the synthesis that advances humanity – must go further. We need Freedom Caucus leader Jim Jordan as Speaker of the House to balance the ship created by the Undifferentiated Mass Men/the Dick Cheney Mass Men/the Democratic Party First Amendment Trashing Mass Men.
We need Jim Jordan’s emphasis on Freedom, individualism, capitalism to remind us what is wrong with the trend toward socialism, this what is best for the group phenomena which has lost a realization of the importance of the individual.
My take is that the synthesis will be a renewed respect for the “I” of individualism such as seen in the philosophy of Martin Buber who says without a strong “I” there can be no relationship: we cannot say “Thou.”
What this synthesis, I think, will involve is a recognition of “the between” – as Buber calls it, as representing the real reality. But this “between” is not Group Think, not the Undifferentiation of Cheney’s New World Order which needs repressive programs like Government Gang Stalking – rather the between is the space created when a strong “I” – individual – says “Thou.” That happens when assumptions are suspended and real dialogue takes place.
Real dialogue is what is missing today. It is missing because you need a person with a solid sense of self, a real individual who has strong boundries and acknowledges the separateness of other people who have a right to their separate thoughts, speech, beliefs for real dialogue to take place.
Where we are seems chaotic because it is chaotic. We are in a period of transition. But if Hegel is right – the synthesis will come. But first we must have a more developed antithesis.
But before that can happen we need people like Jim Jordan as speaker of the House to give us the other point of view – the antithesis of Group Think/Deep State Unconsciousness/the State Secrets Doctrine that conceals what really is.
